Through her multilayered technique, Vecsey builds compositions in luminous tonal combinations inspired by the landscapes of eastern Long Island that evoke the optical effects of sea, light, and air. Vecsey has been highlighted as one of "Five Trending Artists Grabbing the Attention of the Artnet Gallery Network" and was included in the recent Women Choose Women exhibition at The Barn in Bridgehampton. This is the first work in the Museum’s permanent collection of Vecsey’s. She is represented by Berry Campbell.
